It has been a busy couple of months for team Savvy Guest. Apart from hitting the airwaves throughout South Manchester and Tameside we visited The Runway at Manchester Airport Aviation Park where Concorde is based, to take part in BBC Radio 4 Any Questions Live, met up with Wythenshawe MP Mike Kane and was selected as finalists in the Pride of Tameside Business Awards 2015. Going back to All FM radio to meet presenter Annie Chisambo on ‘’The Money Show’ again was fun and enjoyable, even though we managed to get the quiz question wrong ‘TWICE’. Please listen to the link below to hear our interview.

Speaking of interviews we were also invited along to Tameside Radio to meet lunchtime presenter Louise Croombs. Again this was another exciting and enlightening experience for us and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the crew and telling them about You can hear the edited version of the show on the link below.

We felt very important joining the audience for the radio programme ‘BBC Radio 4 Any Questions Live at The Runway at Manchester Airport Aviation Park. Although our questions didn’t get picked we had the pleasure of meeting the panel and having our photograph taken alongside Liberal Democrat Leader Tim Farron.

Next stop on the Political line was meeting up with Wythenshawe MP Mike Kane at his constituency office to discuss the community benefits of Savvy Guest before he started his weekly journey to London and the House of Commons. We had a great brew and also met Cllr Suzanne Richards.

Without a doubt though, the most exciting thing to happen during the last month was be to be selected as finalists for the Pride of Tameside Business Awards 2015 in the Creative, Digital and Technological Category. The award ceremony was hosted by Brother UK Limited in the magnificent Circus themed marquee at the beginning of July. Although we didn’t win our category we were be delighted to be nominated and selected as part of the final 3 alongside Periscope and Formby Communications trading as ‘02’. No mean feat to be up against 2 wonderful companies and be part of the top 25 businesses in Tameside and….. there’s always next year.   We have a lot of activities and meetings in the pipeline over the coming months. Please follow, share and Like us on Twitter and Facebook to find out what we are up to. In the meantime, we wish you all a fab summer and a great time whatever you are up too.
